Generation V (Youth Ministry) serves youth, ages 13 - 17 years. Our mission is to make the teachings of Christ relevant for contemporary situations, by edifying, equipping and empowering them with the inspired Word of God, to help youth discover the plan that God has for their future.
Our ministry focal scripture is Jeremiah 29:11-13: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to PROSPER you, and not to harm you, plans to give you a HOPE and a FUTURE. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart."
Sunday Youth Worship Service. The Encounter is a weekly praise and worship service designed to provide an opportunity for the youth to learn and mature in the Word, how to apply it, discover their divine purpose, exercise their gifts, and share their knowledge of Christ.
- Romeoville High School (West Campus): Check-in 9:50am; Check-in ends @10:30am
- C.V.C.A. (South Campus): Check-in 12:20pm; Check-in ends @1:00pm
Friday Night Hangout. Da B.L.O.C. is a time for the youth to hang out in a laid back atmosphere. They meet every 2nd and 4th Friday for "Real Talk" session, games, food and More! Check out the youth calendar for more details.
