Role of the Stewardship Ministry
1. Support biblical teaching and modeling for financial freedom. We will help one another through training, action, and results. Specifically, we will achieve and model financial freedom through:
- Tithing: Consistently and Regularly
- Paying bills on time and in full
- NO credit card debt
- NO car payments
- Home ownership
- Establishment of college funds
- Helping others and family in need
- Establishing savings/investment accounts
2. Communicate and celebrate. The Stewardship Ministry will communicate to the congregation on a regular basis through testimonies, updates, and videos. Victory will celebrate specific ministry milestones and celebrate with the members as God moves in our lives.
3. Create and maintain a culture of generosity. Pastor Smokie Norful has a generous heart, and has spearheaded a move of generosity in our church. We will continue to expand and extend this effort to impact our congregation and our communities.
4. Strategize and plan to meet the financial needs of the ministry. We commit to being good stewards of our resources, and will seek God's guidance and direction on ALL financial matters. We are accountable to God and our members for upholding sound, biblical financial principles.
Stewardship's Guiding Scripture
"And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." (2 Corinthians 9:8)
