The Year Is Not Over
Philippians 1:6 carries a quiet confidence that is powerful in any season: "Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. As we move through the second half of this year, this verse is a reminder that God is not done with what He started in you. Whatever you resolved in January — whatever spiritual ground you hoped to gain, whatever character you prayed God would build, whatever faith steps you committed to take — none of that vision expires because the calendar moved. God is still at work. His purposes in your life do not run on a twelve-month fiscal year. He began something in you that predates this year and outlasts it. And He is carrying it forward — not based on your perfect performance, but based on His own faithfulness and commitment to His work. This does not mean we should be passive. It means we should be encouraged. Even when you feel like you have fallen short of where you hoped to be by now — spiritually, personally, in your faith — God has not given up on the work. He is still shaping, still sanctifying, still guiding. The second half of any year is often where the most meaningful growth happens, precisely because people have stopped pretending they can do it on their own and have returned to dependence on God. You are not behind. You are in process. And the God who began the process will see it through. The year is not over — and neither is what God is building in you.
Philippians 1:6
"...being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
Today's Prayer
Father, thank You that You don't give up on the work You have started in me. I recommit myself to You today — not with the pressure to have it all together but with the confidence that You are still working. Complete what You began. Amen.
Today's Action Step
Revisit one spiritual goal from the beginning of the year. Even if you have made little progress, take one step toward it today. It is not too late.

Hope.
Healing.
Empowerment.
